Ylang -Ylang Mask
(for normal or oily skin)
Ylang-ylang is indigenous to the Maya Archipelago, I noticed the women of Tahiti mixing ylang-ylang with coconut oil, and using it as an all over body rub and in thier hair.
1 teaspoon Wheatena brand cereal
1 teaspoon crushed oatmeal
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 drop geranium oil
1 drop ylang-ylang oil
Warm the honey and combine it with yogurt, oatmeal, and Wheatena. Add the essential oils and mix to make a thick paste. Spread the paste onto your face and lie down to relax. Leave the mask on for 10 to 20 minutes .Rinsse off with a tepid water.

This based on a recipe acquired during my travels to northern India, where women commonly use oatmeal or almonds meal to soften thier hands.

Combine all the ingredients to form a thick paste, adding just enough milk and vinegar to moisten the mixture. Apply to your hands, put on a pair of cotton gloves, and leave on overnight

Seaweed Body Treatments
Seaweed is one of the most sought after spa treatment ingredients for many reasons. Not only does it cleanse your skin and leave you glowing like a light bulb, it’s also beneficial to your health. This Top Treatment Trend contains Alga polyphenols and Carotenoids which are both strong anti-oxidants. The plant is also rich in minerals, amino acids and vitamins. One of the major perks of seaweed is that it’s highly anti-bacterial and rids the skin of acne toxins. Seaweed-infused treatments like body wraps and and facials can ease pains like arthiritis, detoxify the body and improve circulation, all while firming and smoothing the skin.
Alpha-Hydroxy Acid: Fruit Peels
Alpha-Hydroxy Acids or AHA are a buzzword in the world of exfoliants. Like most"discoveries" AHAs in one form or other, have actually been used for centuries by such famous beauties as Cleopatra, whose flawless skin has been attributed to her passion for milk baths. The gentle exfoiliation of these fruit peels speed up cell renewal, leading to a healthier skin tone. You can try one of these ingredients,or mix and match with the liquids to find a formula that best suit your skin. These peels contain organic acids and can be used to help soften the appearance of wrinkles; minimize sun spots, age spots, and blemishes; and unclog pores.Do not expect miracles right away. Over time you will notice a difference.Make sure to test a small area first before applying to your whole face
